We probably started out as hard to please homebuyers as we put together our plan to relocate from New York to the Kansas City area. We were on a mission to purchase our 6th home. Not only were we experienced homebuyers, but one of us is also a licensed NY state real estate broker who specializes in residential housing. With so much personal and professional expertise, we carefully made the decision to build again and selected Estes Custom Homes over many other KC area builders. We were impressed by the quality of the model home and then took an instant liking to Dave Estes. As our home was being constructed, we were pleasantly surprised by Dave's dedication. Some home builders hire foremen to be on site and rarely do they take the time themselves to check up on the various stages of development. But, not Dave Estes. He prides himself on all the important details that go into building a home, as if he is building for himself. From start to finish, Dave Estes was committed to making our home building experience a good one and each and every day he was overseeing things with great attention to detail. Additionally, his wife Sondra was very involved. There was daily communication and whenever we needed to reach out both Dave & Sondra were accessable via phone or email as we made some very important decisions from miles away. They did a great job. They were very honest, professional, personable and easy to get along with. It's now months later and we have no regrets. In fact, we couldn't be happier in our new Estes Custom Home and will be giving our recommendations for years to come.

Thanks Estes Custom Homes, we love our new home! We were recently relocated here, moving 4 hours away from all of our family and friends. We spent days, weeks and eventually months looking for the right house. We always kept coming back to Dave’s homes, his homes just had a different feel to them. We loved the charm and attention to detail in all of his houses. I have to say, that we really loved our last home, so someone had big shoes to fill!As we walked through a model home with Dave the first time it was very evident that he really pays attention to detail and thinks of families and how they operate, putting certain things in certain places to help make a family run smoothly. His homes flow very well! On top of that the accents, colors and detail, we knew we wanted Dave to build our home! "We knew from the first time we walked into an Estes Custom Home that it was going to be a very different experience. We were pleasantly surprised that the man in the home we were looking at was actually the builder himself, Dave Estes. Unexpected, he took the time to walk through the house with us, pointing out everything that was planned for the home. We decided to buy that house after being thoroughly impressed with the detail and fine craftsmanship we could see in the home, even at the early stage of building. It did not take long to figure out that was not a fluke meeting seeing Dave at the house. "We first discovered Estes Custom Homes when my husband was on a house search with the realtor. I was unable to travel at the time so I didn't get to see any of the homes in person. When he came back with pictures and information of all the homes he had seen, the Estes home was unlike any of the others. We immediately checked out the website. We really liked the floor plans and everything we saw in the photos: the attention to detail, the designer colors and style, the layout. Everything we saw was exactly what we were looking for! By the time we were able to get the house it was almost complete, so we really didn't get to customize it. Even without doing so we absolutely love it! The first time I saw the house in person was the day we moved in!
We did get to work closely with Dave and Sondra when we decided to complete the basement. They were so easy to work with. We could call, text or email them anytimes and they always got back to us right away to answer any questions or issues we had. If and when we ever get a chance to upgrade to a new home we will definitely give Dave Estes a call."
